• "User" refers to students, parents, or guardians using our services
• "Partner" refers to hostel owners or property managers listing their properties
• "Services" refers to all features, tools, and functionalities provided by Hostel96
• "Listing" refers to hostel properties advertised on our platform

3. Eligibility

To use Hostel96, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be legally capable of entering into binding contracts

4. User Account

4.1 Registration

You must create an account through the official Hostel96 mobile application (available on the Play Store) to access our features, including booking and partnership services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information promptly to keep it accurate and current. By registering, you acknowledge that all core services and booking processes are conducted exclusively through the Hostel96 mobile application.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities.

5. Services Provided

Hostel96 acts as an intermediary platform connecting students with hostel accommodations. We provide:

• Search and discovery tools for hostel listings
• Verified information about hostel properties
• Communication channels between users and partners
• Booking assistance and support services
• Referral and rewards programs

6. Booking and Payments

6.1 Booking Process

When you express interest in a hostel through our platform, you may be required to:

• Provide personal and contact information
• Submit required documentation
• Pay booking fees or security deposits as specified
• Agree to the specific terms of the hostel partner

6.2 Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely. You agree to:

• Provide valid payment information
• Pay all applicable fees and charges
• Authorize us to charge your payment method
• Bear responsibility for any additional bank or transaction fees

6.3 Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations

• Cancellation within 2 days: Full refund.
• Cancellation within 5 days: 10% deduction will be applied.
• Cancellation after 5 days: No refund.

Non-Refundable Bookings

Some special offers and promotions are non-refundable. These will be clearly marked at the time of booking. No refunds will be provided for these bookings.

Changes to Your Booking

To modify your booking, please contact us at least 7 days before the check-in date. Changes depend on availability and may include additional charges.

Early Termination

If you leave before the end of your stay, no refund will be issued for the remaining days.

Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days after receiving your cancellation request. The amount will be credited to the original payment method.

7. User Responsibilities

As a user of Hostel96, you agree to:

• Not engage in fraudulent or misleading activities
• Not post offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
• Not attempt to circumvent our platform to avoid fees

8. Partner Responsibilities

Hostel partners agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date listing information
• Maintain properties as described in listings
• Comply with all local laws and safety regulations
• Honor bookings made through the platform
• Respond promptly to inquiries and concerns
• Provide safe and habitable accommodations

9. Verification and Safety

While we strive to verify all hostel listings, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of all information. Users are encouraged to:

• Conduct their own due diligence before booking
• Visit properties in person when possible
• Read reviews and ratings from other users
• Report any safety concerns immediately

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Hostel96 platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is the property of Hostel96 or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
• Create derivative works based on our platform
• Reverse engineer or attempt to access our source code

11. Privacy and Data Protection

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not responsible for disputes between users and partners
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months
• We are not liable for service interruptions or technical issues

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hostel96, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Your use of our services
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Any content you submit to the platform

14. Reviews and Ratings

Users may submit reviews and ratings of hostels. You agree that:

• Reviews must be based on genuine experiences
• Reviews must not contain offensive or inappropriate content
• We reserve the right to moderate or remove reviews
• Reviews become the property of Hostel96

15. Referral Program
